ClimbWorks provides comprehensive manufacturing support for new product development, with a focus on mass production. We are involved in new products and the advanced development of major manufacturers in a variety of fields through the provision of parts, including next-generation automobiles (EV, FCV), industrial equipment, electronic devices, medical devices, and semiconductor manufacturing equipment. We also provide stable quality products by proposing optimum manufacturing methods from prototype production to mass production start-up, and by conducting product maturation activities with mass production quality in mind. We provide solutions to our customers' problems with our integrated production system, quality control, industry-leading short delivery times, and advanced technical capabilities. Our plants are designed to take advantage of each location, with the Tokyo headquarters plant focusing on prototype development based on the competitiveness of its design and technology, and the Nagasaki plant, which began full-scale operations in January 2021, focusing on mass production development with its cost competitiveness as its strength. This system enables us to contribute to the cutting edge of manufacturing in all regions of Japan.

Specialized Products, Technologies and Services

Quick turnaround prototyping of metal/resin parts of any manufacturing method and material

We provide prototypes for verification of functionality and mass production with high precision and short delivery times. We also provide support for product development by machining metal and resin parts by cutting, injection molding, die-casting, etc. with short delivery times.

[(1) Cutting (metal, resin)]
We can provide high-precision cutting prototypes for evaluation and verification in as little as three days using a 5-axis machining center. We can handle a wide range of work materials, including not only metals such as aluminum and steel, but also resin materials such as super engineering plastics.

[(2) Resin injection molding process]
We provide high-precision plastic molding prototypes for evaluation and verification in as little as 14 days, including mold design, mold production, and injection molding. We can handle glass filler and super engineering plastics, as well as insert molding and over-molding.

Integrated prototype/mass production: Mass production with quick turnaround in evaluation prototypes

ClimbWorks provides integrated services from prototyping to mass production and manufacturing. Our integrated service from prototyping to production reduces the total cost and lead time of mass-produced products.

[Advantages]
・No need to re-select a manufacturer when transitioning to mass production because of the production and technical feedback acquired through product maturity activities during prototyping.
・Cost reductions due to man-hour reductions are possible thanks to easy-to-machine shape proposals at the prototype stage.
・Trial production of both metal and resin parts is performed at the Tokyo Technical Center, which takes advantage of its geographical location, and production is performed at the cost-competitive Nagasaki Technical Center, which is equipped with automated facilities.
